CFC has provided me with a multitude of opportunities to pursue my interests within Finance. What stands out to me above all else is the quality of relationships that I’ve developed here. From Sunday NMEs to our Lakeside Retreat, CFC was a highlight in my first year.

You are constantly surrounded by like-minded individuals eager to help you succeed. From lunches at my favorite NYC restaurant to ski trips in Montreal and midnight coffee runs, the CFC community is truly unmatched. I can’t wait to carry on this tradition as an upperclassman.

The CFCommunity, as we would call it, has been more incredible than I could’ve ever hoped. I have grown unimaginably close with my new member class and developed tight bonds with CFC member of all ages. CFC fosters a community of passionate, finance-interested individuals who will leap for a great time no matter the situation.

CFC has given me the tools to think like a banker — structured, analytical, and detail-oriented. I love the culture of pushing each other to grow while still supporting one another, and the education goes far beyond technicals into real teamwork and communication.

At Cornell Finance Club, I’m surrounded by brilliant, driven people who constantly push me to be better. It’s a genuine community where you’re challenged and supported at the same time, and I’ve grown faster here than anywhere else. Being part of CFC has easily been one of the most valuable and rewarding experiences I’ve had at Cornell.

The supportive community of CFC not only pushed me to succeed but also showed me how pursuing finance can connect me with inspiring friends and mentors. This experience solidified my passion for the field and my goal of building a career where I can thrive in a collaborative and challenging environment.

Agricultural Sciences ’28

After getting into CFC, I didn’t know what to expect from NME, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of my first semester. From going to NME every Sunday, to working on the merger pitch, or selling donuts all day for the fundraiser, I have many good memories. Through NME, I grew close with my fellow new members while learning about finance and developing professionally. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
