Before joining Cornell Finance Club, I had heard that its members were very passionate about finance, and I found this to true. Between the NME and our stock pitch competition, I gained insight beyond surface-level memorization. CFC has pushed me to think differently about finance, and I’ve learned an incredible amount just by being immersed in the club’s environment.

My favorite CFC social this semester was definitely going to our pong welcoming event after we initially started New Member Education. It was a great opportunity meet the rest of the club and really connect to all the members!

After getting into CFC, I didn’t know what to expect from NME, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of my first semester. From going to NME every Sunday, to working on the merger pitch, or selling donuts all day for the fundraiser, I have many good memories. Through NME, I grew close with my fellow new members while learning about finance and developing professionally. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

The CFCommunity, as we would call it, has been more incredible than I could’ve ever hoped. I have grown unimaginably close with my new member class and developed tight bonds with CFC member of all ages.
